An annual report produced by the Government of Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration. The cover uses a typographic step-and-repeat pattern with a palette of colours that includes the blue used on the Province’s official fleur-de-lys symbol. The rest of the publication is printed in mono, but the cover’s typographic grid is adapted throughout to introduce the various sections of the document.

The publication provides statistical information on the numbers of immigrants coming into the Province and the wider country, as well as the number of people speaking one, both or neither of the country’s official languages. It was produced at a time when immigration had risen again after having reached its lowest point since 1968 in 1972.
