This bilingual poster inviting submissions for a music festival as part of Expo 67 was designed by Bellemare during his time as a freelance designer, a decade before he founded Raymond Bellemare Designers Inc in 1976. Raymond found himself in a fortunate position, securing the project through a relative who was already working at the World’s Fair.

The poster features an exaggerated halftone image of a classical guitar, selected as it spans both folk and jazz musical genres. The bright green and orange colour scheme combined to drawn the eye and evoke a high impact result.
